As I'm sitting here killing time thinking about the US Presidential election that's coming up in 3 weeks something hit me:
The party whose first elected President emancipated the slaves is now running a smear campaign against a black opponent and trying to make him look like a terrorist.
The party that was once supported/influenced by the Ku Klux Klan has a black candidate running in the presidential election.
Oh the times they are a-changin'.
